Unmasking Stigma- An Open House

February 26 – 27, 2015, 5-9pm

dc3 Art Projects is very pleased to open our doors to Edmonton Oilers goalie Ben Scrivens and his Ben’s Netminders project. In partnership with the Oiler’s Community Foundation, Schizophrenia Society of Alberta and Canadian Mental Health Association Scrivens has worked with Edmonton artists to bring awareness to issues around mental health. Richard Boulet and Mark Munan are the first two artists to work with Scrivens, designing and bringing to life custom goalie masks beautifully realized by Eyecandyair. We are presenting these masks to the public along with artist’s works in the gallery Thursday and Friday evening 5-9 along with members of the mental health services community, Edmonton Oilers players and families, and art lovers alike. Join us to take a look at these fantastic creations before the fundraising auction of the masks.
