dc3 Art projects opened in 2012 as a commercial contemporary art gallery dedicated to supporting Albertan and Canadian artists. Through exhibitions in the Edmonton gallery, presentations at art fairs in Toronto, Montreal, New York and Switzerland, and offsite exhibitions in Edmonton, Montreal and Los Angeles, dc3 built a national reputation for presenting ambitious ideas and projects.
David Candler, Founder / Director
Founder of dc3 Art Projects David Candler has spent 20 years looking and reading, travelling for and absorbing the world of contemporary visual art. A self-described artjunkie, he has a passion for artists and their creations, and through dc3 Art Projects shares this obsession with others. As a longtime collector himself, he is a tireless advocate for the importance of art within a society and the role it plays in making the world richer and more complete.
